The Titleist DT Trusoft retails for $30 a dozen (MSRP) and it replaces the old DT Solo line, being available in optic yellow and white. As the name suggests, the Titleist DT Trusoft is designed and built for offering you an improved soft-feel when compared to its predecessors, but, very important, without compromising the performance in the process. And boy, Titleist did a great job with the DT Trusoft, as the ball is designed and built for offering the company's softest compression feel ever, while still delivering above average performance in terms of velocity, distance and great short game playability. The company's R&D team created a new core and a brand-new material for the ball's coating in their quest for “the softest ball ever”, but they encountered the hard task of not sacrificing spin or distance .
After 2 years of development, the new Titleist DT Trusoft hit the market, featuring an interesting blend of distance, spin, speed and softness. After playing a few rounds with the DT Trusoft, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the new generation of soft balls from Titleist is vastly superior when compared to the Solo. The Trusoft ball benefits from the latest developments in golf-gear technology, ie. it's manufactured using a combo of a really fast low compression core and a pure ionomer cover, marking a company's first in this regard. Usually, when the compression in a golf ball is lowered, the end result is less spin. That's not necessary a bad thing in regard to the long game scenarios, but the short game definitely suffers from it. Titleist mitigated this problem by altering the ball's cover composition, thus making it suitable for all types of players. Truth be told, the Titleist DT Trusoft doesn't offer the same levels of performance as the NXT or the Pro-line, but it was designed as an affordable and competitive product which provides some shot versatility, particularly if you're looking for a durable, consistent and predictable ball with great value.

Drivers Dt Soft Golf Balls
The Titleist DT TruSoft golf ball was created to be, as per its name, the softest ball in the company's portfolio. The brand new DT TruSoft boasts a newly designed core and cover, aimed at improving distance on all shots. Also, its incredible softness delivers amazing distance via lowering spin on long shots, while the ball's short game spin provides amazing stopping power on the green. The Titleist DT TruSoft is available in 2 colors: classic white and high optic yellow. To enumerate a few of its benefits, this baby boasts the softest compression in a Titleist golf ball ever, longer distance compared to the previous generation, and improved short game/overall performance due to the company's patented TruTouch core, that is designed to promote a truly soft feel and low spin for increasing distance on all shots. The Titleist DT TruSoft also comes with a new TruFlex cover, that utilizes the company's patented technology to deliver an incredible soft feel around the green and increased short game spin. The ball also features an advanced aerodynamic construction, which ensures improved distance and a piercing/consistent ball flight.
Compared to the 2016 version, the latest gen Titleist DT TruSoft has a larger low compression core, which makes it longer and reduces spin, while its ionomer-made cover improved with the proprietary TruFlex technology keeps that soft feel all golfers know and love in premium golf balls. The dimples in the Titleist DT TruSoft were also tweaked to improve aerodynamics, which translates into a better flight. Bottom line, if you enjoy playing a soft-premium golf ball, that's also able to handle the lower green-side spin, the Titleist DT TruSoft should definitely be on your short list, as it's one of the best on the market today in its price bracket.
