Hi everyone, Please help me solve the problem with USB 3.0 3TB HDD unrecognized in Windows 10. Your responses/suggestions are appreciated. Core Issue My external 3TB USB 3.0 Hitachi Desk Pro is recognized by Windows 10 device manager but is not recognized by Disk Management. To be more precise, it is unknown in Disk Management thereby incapable of being initialized. See image below. Windows device driver information for Hitachi HDS721616PLA380. The rotation speed at which Hitachi HDS721616PLA380 pins at is 7200 RPM. The Capacity at which the device is offered is 80 GB and 160 GB. The size of the device is 3.5 inches with 8.5 ms seek time.

The following update is REQUIRED to add the support for US model families of Hitachi Inverter to your ProDrive Version 1.8.8.1 installation. Follow the steps below to install this update:
- Install ProDrive 1.8.8.1 from the link given in the previous section.
- Download and install the ProDrive Software Version 1.8.8.1 UPDATE from the link below. The link will download a zip file.
- Unzip the files to your main ProDrive program folder, which also contains the prodrive.exe file.
Note: When you start ProDrive, be sure to select the support for US inverters in the ProDrive Setting window.
